One of the best chest workouts for isolation is the cable cross over.

This exercise is performed using the cable pulley machine that has a pulley on two opposite sides. Set each pulley up so that it is locked in the high position. While standing, grab each pulley using a one-hand attachment for each hand. Position your body so that you look like the letter T. Bring your arms together in a slow and controlled manner. Like the dumbbell fly, visualize that you are hugging a barrel.

It is important when performing this exercise to flex your pectoral muscles together at the peak of the exercise for a second or two, and then slowly return to the starting position.
